Each year the Commission checks that the DAA and the IAA have complied with the prevailing price cap governing airport charges and ATSCs. Based on the compliance analysis the Commission calculates a price cap for the next year with an adjustment, if necessary, based on the firm's compliance with the price cap.
* In years when there is a full Determination, the Commission does not publish a separate compliance notice.
DAA Quality of Service Monitoring Reports
The Final Determination on airport charges 2010 – 2014, CP4/2009, created a direct link between the price cap on airport charges at Dublin Airport and the quality of service delivered by the DAA by the inclusion of a quality of service term in the price cap. If DAA fails to meet the targets set out in the Determination the price cap will be reduced by a specified amount. For further information on the quality of service targets and penalties see Chapter 4 of CP4/2009.
The reports in the table below present the results from the quality of service monitoring scheme at Dublin Airport. Annual adjustments to the price caps arising from the quality of service term will be set out in annual compliance statements starting with the compliance statement on 2010 airport charges.
